Calling all Loyola Patent Fair Attendees! Join us Wednesday, July 20th from 4:00pm-6:00pm for Practice Before the PTAB – From the PTAB Judges’ Perspective. This program is a unique opportunity to learn about the practice before the PTAB from the PTAB judges, themselves.
The PTAB judges will offer an introduction to the PTAB and an update on the “state of the Board”. The judge will also discuss patent career development as well as the current issues before the Board from the perspective of both judges and practitioners. The program will end with a game of “PTAB Feud”, followed by a Networking Reception from 6:00pm-7:00pm. This is a fantastic way to learn about the PTAB, interact with the PTAB judges and have a little fun with members of the PTAB Bar Association before your interviews begin!

This event is free of charge but all attendees must register.
Tentative Program Schedule
4:00pm - Welcome and Opening remarks
Session 1 –Introduction to PTAB and State of the Board
This session will include a basic overview of the current Board, including recent statistics related to Board decisions.
Session 2 – Patent Career Development
This session will include information on the LEAP Program and the PTAB Law Clerk Program
Session 3 – PTAB-Current Issues
This session will include discussion on the latest developments and hot topics at the Board discussed by both judges and practitioners
Session 4 -- PTAB Feud Game
A PTAB based game meant to educate participants about past and present PTAB facts.
