In conjunction with the 2025 PTAB Bar Association Annual Conference, the Women’s Committee of the PTAB Bar Association is hosting a one-mile walk through Washington, DC to support STEM education.
Conference attendees are invited to join us at 7:00am on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in front of the Ritz-Carlton, Washington DC, for the PTAB Bar Association Walk for STEM. Walk Route Map There is no charge for this event.
The Walk will be followed by the Diversity/Women’s Breakfast, a networking breakfast with the Women’s Committee, the Diversity Committee, and PTAB judges from the USPTO. The Breakfast will include an art auction of an original portrait to raise funds for Camp Invention.
The Women’s Committee is partnering with the non-profit National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) to raise funds to provide children with scholarships to the Camp Invention program.
Camp Invention is a leading K-6 STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program inspiring creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship and curiosity. This program also gives kids in grades 7-9 the opportunity to become Leaders-in-Training (LITs) and develop leadership skills through formal training and mentorship.
We are asking all participants to register for the walk and to consider making a donation to NIHF.
