Laura Vu is an associate in the Intellectual Property group at Haynes Boone. She previously clerked for Judge Raymond T. Chen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and was formerly a primary patent examiner. Her practice focuses on appeals to the Federal Circuit and post-grant proceedings before the PTAB.
Panelists:
Sharon Lee is a partner in Sidley Austin LLP’s IP litigation group whose practice focuses on patent litigation in district court, before the PTAB, and before the Federal Circuit. Sharon has extensive experience representing both petitioners and patent owners in post-grant proceedings before the PTAB involving a variety of technologies, including implantable medical devices, surgical robots, network security, and digital rights management.
Golda Lai is a counsel at Akin where she represents biopharmaceutical clients in patent litigation, including cases involving the Biosimilars Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA). She has experience representing clients in PTAB proceedings including inter partes review and reexaminations, as well as in U.S. district courts across the country and before the Federal Circuit.
Jenny Wu is a Partner in the New York office of Groombridge, Wu, Baughman & Stone LLP. She is an experienced patent litigator, having gone to trial in cases spanning a variety of technologies in a number of different jurisdictions. Her practice also regularly includes post-grant cases at the PTAB and appeals before the Federal Circuit. Jenny previously clerked for Chief Judge Kimberly Moore.
